The only way to improve as a speaker is to practice. Each session, you will be given an assignment to work on that will be manageable, given your level of anxiety. Each subsequent session will be progressively more challenging. It is very similar to lifting weights at the gym; you will 100% improve with consistency. I find that the sweet spot is doing 1-2 classes per week.
Examples of exercises include: answering questions about yourself, telling a story with gestures, incorporating vocal variety when you speak, and giving a technical speech.
Each session varies, but the ideal amount of participants in a given session is 10 people.
Most attendees see noticeable improvement within 5 sessions.
